Tea tree oil's antibacterial effects may help control underarm odor related to perspiration.

Sweat itself does not smell. However, when secretions from your sweat glands combine with bacteria on your skin, a moderate to strong odor is produced.

I have been concerned about using regular anti-perspirants for some time, so was excited to try this balm.
I’m lucky to not experience excessive under-arm body odour/wetness, so can not say how this would work on someone who does, but I’ve found this to be so gentle on under-arms and other areas of skin which may need deodorising/freshening. The neroli smell is subtle yet pretty.
